Non-infectious autoimmune uveitis is an inflammatory disorder of the eye that can emerge in isolation or from different systemic autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases. While uveitis can be classified based on anatomic distribution, speed of onset, and associated systemic disease, we have little knowledge of the underlying pathophysiology to guide the choice of therapeutic intervention. This session provides new mechanistic insights into ocular inflammation.
