The Eng Tan, MD Memorial Lecture will honor the many contributions of Dr Tan to the field of rheumatology. Dr. Tan revolutionized the role of biomarkers and was a past president of the American Rheumatism Association (forerunner to the ACR). The lecture will be given by Dr George Tsokos, an ACR Master and noted SLE researcher, and will review important immune mechanisms involved in SLE. A session not to be missed given by one of the leading experts in the field.
