Dr. Son attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed internship, residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), followed by fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at BCH. She is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She is the Clinical Chief of Immunology and the Chair & Section Chief in Rheumatology at BCH. She pursues clinical research and provides clinical care on the outpatient and inpatient services. She is a co-PI of the CARRA Registry. She has received funding from the CDC, the American Heart Association, PCORI and BCH to support her research interests, including outcomes in Kawasaki disease, childhood-onset Systemic Lupus Erythematosus as well as Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children.
