Dr Calabrese is the Director of the RJ Fasenmyer Center for Clinical Immunology which is focused on the intersection infectious diseases and immune mediated disorders. The center has clinical and research interests in understanding the role of infections as the etiology of immune mediated disorders, as well as the clinical challenges of managing patients with immune mediated disorders with comorbid or complicating, serious and opportunistic infections. Over the past 4 years the center has been focused on furthering our understanding and managing COVID-19 in compromised hosts and Long Covid as a post acute infectious sequelae.
