Dr. Sharon Chung is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Division of Rheumatology. She directs the UCSF Vasculitis Clinic, serves as a Medical Consultant for the Vasculitis Foundation, and is a member of the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium. Dr. Chung's research interests include developing clinical trials that utilize novel strategies to induce tolerance in immune-mediated diseases. She has led the ACR committee that developed guidelines for the management of systemic vasculitis.
