Dr. Golightly is Assistant Dean for Research and Professor of the College of Allied Health Professions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is an epidemiologist and a physical therapist with over 20 years of research experience and over 160 peer-reviewed publications. Her research focuses on osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal injury, lower body musculoskeletal disorders, physical activity, and common comorbid conditions associated with osteoarthritis. She is co-Principal Investigator (with Dr. Amanda Nelson) of the Johnston County Osteoarthritis Project and the Johnston County Health Study.
