Dr. Courtney Wells is a researcher, educator, and licensed social worker committed to improving the emotional health of patients with chronic health conditions. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and is a Co-Founder of Young Patients’ Autoimmune Research and Empowerment Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to engaging young patients in the research process. She has served in leadership roles with the Arthritis Foundation, Global Healthy Living Foundation, and the American College of Rheumatology. Courtney is motivated by her experiences living with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ehlers-Danols Syndrome for over 40 years.
