Adena Batterman, LCSW, MSW is a licensed clinical social worker and Senior Manager, Inflammatory Arthritis Support and Education Programs at HSS. She has over 25 years of experience in working with patients, families and support groups to enhance coping with the physical and emotional impact of inflammatory arthritis. Ms. Batterman’s work focuses on developing innovative programs and conducting research to address psychosocial and psychoeducational needs of these communities. She regularly presents on these issues in both patient education and professional rheumatology forums.
