Dr. Priya Reddy is a practicing rheumatologist at AARA-Southwest Florida
Rheumatology, based in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida.
She grew up in Queens, New York before moving to the West Coast of
Florida. She completed fellowship in rheumatology at the University of
Washington in Seattle, Washington, and prior to that, completed her
Internal Medicine training at the University of Illinois - Chicago at Michael
Reese Hospital where she was a Chief Resident and Associate Program
Director of Internal Medicine.
Before opening Southwest Florida Rheumatology in 2010, she worked as an
Assistant Professor in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of
South Florida, and continues to teach and train Internal Medicine residents
as Faculty and Curriculum Coordinator for Brandon Regional Hospital
Residency Program- USF. She is also active in clinical research and serves as investigator on several trials.
She is the Immediate Past President of the Florida Society of Rheumatology (FSR) and serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the
Association of Women in Rheumatology(AWIR). She has served on the
on the board of directors of the American Arthritis & Rheumatology
Associates. (AARA)
She is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, and is a member
in good standing with the American Medical Association, American College
of Physicians, Florida Medical Association, and Hillsborough County
Medical Association.
