Assistant Professor at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, pediatric rheumatologist at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, Hackensack Meridian Health and Hearst Foundation Physician Scientist and faculty at the Center for Discovery and Innovation.
After completing fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University, Nemours A.I. DuPont Hospital for children in conjunction with research conducted at NIAMS, NIH in the pathogenesis of PFAPA, she continues on the path of clinical care and therapies/etiology in pediatric rheumatic diseases. As CARRA SVARD Vice Chair from 2014-2017, contributions to advancement of Autoinflammatory work groups (CNO/PFAPA) to develop Consensus Treatment Plans.
She continues to lead the CARRA PFAPA/Autoinflammatory work group with the mission of studying therapies and genetics in PFAPA, developing an autoinflammatory network, and engaging parents as well as patients in advancing a CARRA Autoinflammatory advocacy group.
Her interest in the genetics and clinical heterogeneity of Autoinflammatory diseases continues in her work as Guest Researcher at NHGRI, NIH.
Currently, at the Center for Discovery and Innovation, is pursuing translational research in PFAPA
