Dr. Louise M. Thoma is an assistant professor in the Division of Physical Therapy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Thoma’s research focuses on integrating rehabilitation and exercise into routine rheumatology care, particularly for adults with arthritis. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Association of Rheumatology Professionals, and Osteoarthritis Research Society International. She serves on the Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy Research Committee and on the editorial board of Arthritis Care and Research.
