Dr. McCormick is a junior faculty investigator in the Rheumatology and Allergy Clinical Epidemiology Research (RACER) Center in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She is involved in clinical epidemiologic and large-scale multi-omics research in gout, including the influence of diet and other lifestyle exposures. She also has an interest in the health resource utilisation and economic impact of inflammatory rheumatic diseases, which was the focus of her Ph.D. research at The University of British Columbia and Arthritis Research Canada
Her current work is funded by an NIH Career Development Award, "Metabolic syndrome, chronic inflammation, and gout: a multi-omics approach".
