Sarah Gilman is an implementation science consultant for Wayfinder Health Strategies, a federally certified woman-owned small business in Washington, DC, specializing in implementing science methods for health programs and research. She is also a PhD candidate in the Translational Health Sciences program at George Washington University, focusing on Implementation Science and Learning Health Systems. Her research centers on using implementation science methods to bridge the gap between research and practice. She is currently working in the fields of lupus, cervical cancer prevention, and reduction of menstrual health stigma in low and middle-income countries. Sarah is a research assistant in George Washington University’s Learning Health Systems Lab and a member of the International Network for Activating Learning Health Systems (INACT-LHS) working group. With over 20 years of experience in public health program development, management, and evaluation, Sarah has dedicated over a decade to work in lupus-related initiatives. Fluent in Spanish, she has conducted projects in the United States, Peru, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, and Uganda, reflecting a global perspective in her work.
