Tanja Stamm is a Full Professor and Head of the Institute for Outcomes Research at the Medical University of Vienna, where she also serves as Deputy Director of the Center for Medical Data Science. Additionally, she leads the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Arthritis and Rehabilitation. Her research interests include patient-reported outcomes, arthritis, occupational health, digital technologies, real-world data and reinforcement learning. Tanja Stamm integrates clinical expertise with advanced skills in data science, driving innovation in diverse fields such as rheumatology, musculoskeletal health, rehabilitation, public health, diabetes, dietetics, and oral health. She has played a key role in designing and managing complex multi-center drug studies and registries, emphasizing digital infrastructure and a patient-centered focus. Tanja coordinates the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) Health Outcomes Observatory (H2O) project.
