Janeth Yinh, MD, RhMSUS

Dr. Janeth Yinh is a RhMSUS is the Associate Director of the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). After completing her fellowship training at Tufts Medical Center, she served as the Director of the Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Clinic at Tufts Medical Center for 10 years prior to joining MGH in 2019. She participated in development of the ACR musculoskeletal ultrasound certification exam in Rheumatology (RhMSUS) and is part of the faculty mentoring rheumatologists participating in Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR) ultrasound training program. Dr. Yinh is the current Chair of the ACR Ultrasound Subcommittee and Co-Chair of the ACR Ultrasound conference for 2025. Her educational and research interests lie in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis and procedural guidance in the management of inflammatory and crystalline arthritis as well as other musculoskeletal disorders, including immune checkpoint inhibitor related arthritis. She partakes in clinical trials in gout, pseudogout, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and immunotherapy related arthritis. Dr. Yinh provides patient care at the MGH facilities in Boston and Waltham.
