Dr. Renzo Mendoza is an Orthopaedic physical therapy specialist at the University of Illinois Health System, University Village. He has served as both an adjunct instructor and guest lecturer at Northwestern University, North Central College, University of Michigan and the University of Illinois-Chicago. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2018. Following graduation, he completed a one-year orthopaedic physical therapy residency program at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and became a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2020. Dr. Mendoza additionally completed Northwestern University’s Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic Practice, Research and Education in 2022. Dr. Mendoza's interests include chronic pain, health equity, ethical practice, and DPT post-professional training.
