Dr. Dieuwke Schiphof is an associate professor in the Department of General Practice at Erasmus MC, University Medical Center Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on optimizing care for people with osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders. She leads projects on implementation of good care and de-implementation of unnecessary care. Dieuwke values the perspectives and opinions of patients and clinicians in research. She coordinates the platform Healthy with Osteoarthritis, a platform for people with osteoarthritis to exchange knowledge. Furthermore, she is involved in teaching medical doctors to become general practitioners and general practitioners with special interest in musculoskeletal disorders.
