Antanya A. Chung, CPC, CPC-I, CRHC, CCP

Ms. Chung is currently the Director of Practice Management at the American College of Rheumatology. Ms. Chung oversees all practice management educational courses for physicians and health professionals. She holds a BSc degree in behavioral psychology, certifications as a certified professional coder, ICD-10 trainer, auditor and PMCC instructor with the American Academy of Professional Coders. She is also a certified compliance professional through the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance.

She has 25 years of experience in the medical coding, billing, compliance and auditing arena. Her professional background ranges from physician coding, office compliance, auditing, HIPAA training to processing and claims review. She has worked for United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and Emory Healthcare System. Her expertise ranges from processing of hospital and physician claims, contract negotiation, reimbursement coordinator, appeals, revenue management and coordination of benefits. Her coding specialty is in E/M, radiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, anesthesia and rheumatology.
