Dr. Don Thomas is in private practice in Greenbelt, Maryland and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He has had a long time interest in simplifying the education of health care professionals and patients, and has done many patient-education presentations over the last 20 years. His book The Lupus Encyclopedia grew out of that patient-education experience.
Dr. Thomas is excited to be here and talk to us about how to give better presentations for patient audiences.
