Dr. Julia Harris is an Associate Chief Quality Officer, pediatric rheumatologist, and Quality Improvement Director of Rheumatology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. She is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Dr. Harris has co-led development of an institution quality and safety dashboard, in addition to co-creating the Quality, Safety, & Operational Excellence Improvement Program to enhance faculty knowledge in quality improvement (QI). Dr. Harris has led numerous QI initiatives and coaches teams, faculty, and trainees. She is Chair of the Measures Committee for the Pediatric Rheumatology Care and Outcomes Improvement Network (PR-COIN), a multicenter collaborative learning network. She also serves on PR-COIN's Executive, Steering, and Outcomes Committees.
