Dr. Kazuhiko Higashioka is a rheumatologist and postdoctoral research fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He received his MD and PhD in Japan, and has over a decade of clinical experience in rheumatology. His research focuses on the immunological mechanisms of autoimmune diseases, particularly the functional characterization of CD4+ T cells in rheumatoid arthritis synovial tissue. He aims to contribute to treatment stratification and the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
