Dr. Midhun Sakravarthy J. is a MD Pharmacology postgraduate trainee at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad, India. His academic interests include clinical pharmacology, immunopharmacology, and precision therapeutics in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. He has been actively involved in investigator-initiated clinical research, including leading India’s first randomized controlled trial on Iguratimod.
He is a recipient of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Research Grant, and was participated in the UK Seth Prize at IPSCON 2024 for his work on CYP3A5-guided tacrolimus dose optimization in renal transplant recipients. Dr. Midhun is passionate about advancing evidence-based, affordable and personalized pharmacotherapy in immunological disorders and continues to engage in cross-disciplinary research and academic collaboration.
