Dr. Meysami is a recognized leader in the field of Rheumatology, currently serving as the Division Head of Rheumatology at the Henry Ford Health System and as a Associate Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University and clinical Associate professor of medicine at Wayne State University. A Dartmouth-trained scholar, Dr. Meysami joined Henry Ford Health System in 2012, establishing the MSK Ultrasound Clinic and the IgG-4 RD Clinic. His specialties are acknowledged by his board certifications in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, and he holds the prestigious Certified Physician Executive (CPE) certification from the American Association for Physician Leadership.
Dedicated to service, Dr. Meysami holds key positions in a variety of medical organizations. He is a proud member of the Government Affairs Committee at the American College of Rheumatology, the immediate past president, and a board member of the Wayne County Medical Society of Southeast Michigan (WCMSSM), and the Chair of the Board of Education in the Michigan Rheumatism Society (MRS).
Beyond his clinical and administrative roles, Dr. Meysami is a productive scholar with an impressive portfolio of academic contributions. He has produced numerous abstracts, peer-reviewed papers, and presentations at national medical meetings.
