Dr. Joanna Zeiger is a renowned cannabis epidemiologist and the Founder and CEO of Canna Research Foundation, a non-profit that focuses on the epidemiological aspects of medical cannabis use. She is the Chief Scientific Officer and epidemiologist and biostatistician for Clinika Research, a CRO dedicated to studying alternative medicines and devices. Dr. Zeiger has published prolifically in peer-reviewed journals and speaks at conferences and community events. She serves on the Governing Board for the Institute of Cannabis Research at CSU Pueblo. From 1998 to 2010, Dr. Zeiger was a professional athlete, competing in triathlons at an international level, including a 4th place finish at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and a world record win at the 2008 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. Her book, The Champion Mindset: An Athlete’s Guide to Mental Toughness, was published in 2017. Dr. Zeiger holds a BA from Brown University, an MS from Northwestern University, and a PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
