Dr. Natasha Powell is a first-year internal medicine resident at the University of Chicago Medical Center with a growing interest in rheumatology and autoimmune diseases. She earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where she cultivated a strong foundation in clinical research and a passion for complex, multi-system disease processes. Her current work, conducted with her mentor, rheumatologist Dr. Iazsmin Ventura, explores the relationship between extreme weather events and rheumatic diseases.
