Laura Muñoz Barrera is graduated in Biochemistry and is specialized in Translational Biomedical Research at the University of Córdoba, Spain.
She has deepened in the field of genetics and mechanisms underlying the development of different autoimmune inflammatory diseases, as a result of several years as part of the research group where she is currently working on her doctoral thesis with a PFIS grant: GC05 group "Autoimmune-Systemic-Inflammatory-Chronic Diseases of the Locomotor System and Connective Tissue", at the Maimonides Institute of Biomedical Research of Cordoba (IMIBIC), under the direction of Dr. Chary López Pedrera.
