Dr. Xiaohao Wu is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. William Robinson within the Division of Immunology & Rheumatology at Stanford University. Dr. Wu focuses on uncovering the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying degenerative and autoimmune musculoskeletal diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, intervertebral disc degeneration, and osteoporosis. His contributions to this field have been recognized through multiple publications in high-impact journals such as Nature Aging (2022, 2021), Bone Research (2024, 2022), Aging and Disease (2023, 2022), and Aging Cell (2024, 2017). Dr. Wu has received numerous prestigious awards, including the 2025 Young Investigator Award and the 2021 Felix Bronner Young Investigator Award (highest ranking) from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. In addition, he was awarded the 2024 Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellowship and the 2024 Translational Research and Applied Medicine (TRAM) Grant from Stanford University.
