Ashley Holden is a Health Educator Manager at the Lupus Foundation of America’s National Office. Ashley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public and Community Health from the University of Maryland and a Master of Education in Health Education from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a nationally Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC). Ashley is dedicated to developing tools and providing resources to promote individuals overall well-being.
Ashley brings several years of experience in the health education field as well as health insurance knowledge. She spent several years as a worksite wellness consultant for a health insurance company where she worked to develop, implement, maintain and evaluate worksite wellness programs. Her background of worksite wellness has allowed Ashley to plan programs and provide support through a variety of methods on many topics related to general health and wellness topics. In addition to worksite wellness, Ashley has previously worked in the community in a variety of areas such as child passenger safety, cancer prevention, and substance abuse and mental wellness, to name a few.
