University of Rochester
Rochester, New York, United States
Jennifer Nicholson received her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Central Florida, where she originally intended to study neuroscience but instead discovered her love for immunology. She left behind the warm weather to attend the University of Rochester, and she recently completed her M.S. in microbiology and immunology in the lab of Dr. Jennifer Anolik. Her research focused on characterizing cellular senescence in a murine model of lupus nephritis and evaluating the impact of sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitors on renal senescence, inflammation, and fibrosis. Jennifer has a deep interest in continuing her study of autoimmune diseases and potential therapeutics.
