I am doctoral candidate training in a social and behavioral sciences with a focus in mixed quantitative and qualitative methods. My research thus far has primarily focused on mechanisms of adverse health experienced by people living with SLE. Prior to my doctoral work, I was involved with similar health focused participatory action research efforts. In the next phase of my career, I aim to build a research program that combines my prior experiences and focuses on reducing disparities in chronic conditions using mixed methods in a participatory action research framework.
