Head of the Raynaud's and Scleroderma Programme in the Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine and NIHR Biomedical Research Centre in Leeds. Professor Del Galdo is an Italian MD graduate who completed his PhD in 2007 and served as associate Director of the scleroderma Center at Thomas Jefferson University until 2009. Prof Del Galdo main interests are in improving patient outcome through a biomarker led stratified approach to diagnostic and clinical interventions. Since 2022 Prof Del Galdo is the President of EUSTAR, the European Scleroderma And Research consortium.
