Asst. Prof. Dr. Tuğçe Türten Kaymaz completed her nursing undergraduate degree in 2009 and earned her PhD in internal medicine nursing in 2016. She is currently a faculty member at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Her academic work focuses on internal medicine nursing, chronic disease management, and geriatric nursing. Since 2014, she has been living with Takayasu arteritis, which provides her a unique patient perspective that informs her approach to chronic disease care.
