Jaspreet is currently training in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine in Northern Ireland. She is now taking a year out of training to pursue an ADEPT Clinical Leadership Fellowship within NIMDTA, where she supports the new to Northern Ireland Initiative (N2NI), helping trainees transition into the local healthcare system. Alongside this, she is leading initiatives in medical simulation, with focus on enhancing education, training, and preparedness for clinical practice.
Originally from Malaysia, Jaspreet graduated in 2010 with a medical degree from Moscow, and worked across multiple specialties in Malaysia until 2019. After obtaining her MRCP (UK), she relocated to the United Kingdom, working in England before moving to Northern Ireland. Alongside her clinical training, she has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education with Queen’s University and a Diploma in Rheumatology with the University of South Wales, and is currently pursuing a masters degree, due for completion in January 2026. Throughout her career, Jaspreet has been actively involved in a wide range of teaching programmes and quality improvement projects.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures, and embracing married life.
