I am a second-year internal medicine resident at Oregon Health and Sciences University with a growing interest in rheumatology, particularly in the intersection of preventive care and immunosuppression. My current research and clinical focus involve improving Shingrix vaccine uptake among patients receiving disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). I am presenting a poster on this topic, highlighting the effects of coordinating with healthcare providers and educating both patients and clinicians about the guidelines of vaccination in immunosuppressed populations. I am passionate about addressing care gaps through targeted outreach and interdisciplinary collaboration.
