ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, NEW DELHI
NEW DELHI, Delhi, India
I am a researcher focusing on neuropathology and immunogenetics, with expertise in idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM) and neuromuscular disorders. My doctoral research at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, centered on designing advanced machine learning frameworks for the classification of IIM subgroups, alongside comprehensive immunogenetic analyses that identified critical HLA alleles and autoantigenic epitopes relevant for therapeutic development. My work incorporates clinical, serological, histopathological, and genetic data to provide a deeper understanding of autoimmune muscle diseases.
Through large-scale next-generation sequencing in Indian cohorts, I have contributed to the genetic diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders, identifying novel variants and refining disease classification. My research has been recognized by awards such as the NPSI Young Investigator Award and international fellowships supporting presentations at leading muscle and neurology conferences. I am a member of scientific organizations including the American College of Rheumatology and the World Muscle Society.
I have published in high-impact journals and presented internationally on topics including immunogenetics, muscle disease, and precision medicine. My aim is to advance personalized approaches for the diagnosis and management of autoimmune and genetic muscle disorders, facilitating improved patient care through rigorous scientific inquiry and collaboration.
