Dr. Seemal Faisal is a Rheumatology Fellow at LSU Health in New Orleans. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and subsequently worked as a Hospitalist at Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans, LA. Her research and scholarly work spans diverse topics, from rare autoimmune presentations to novel complications of immunotherapy and have been presented at various national and regional meetings, including the American College of Physicians, CHEST Congress, Society of Hospital Medicine, Rheumatology Association of Louisiana and most recently at CCR. She has a particular interest in SLE and its impact on women's health.
