This session will provide a case-based overview of inflammatory myopathy, encompassing the spectrum of manifestations and patient presentations. The session will also emphasize recognition of key features of different disease archetypes and nuanced application of existing therapies to successfully treat challenging cases.

Learning Objectives:

Distinguish key cutaneous manifestations of dermatomyositis and develop strategies for treating refractory patients
Compare the varied manifestations of anti-synthetase syndrome and optimize diagnostic and treatment strategies for these patients
Construct a framework for approaching patients with immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy, to aid with timely diagnosis, and examine current treatment paradigms
