This symposium explores the role of autoantibodies in the pathophysiology of autoimmune diseases, with a focus on myositis and Sjögren’s disease. Through a hypothetical patient case, faculty will highlight the complexity and delays often seen in diagnosis. The session will also introduce FcRn as a novel therapeutic target, outlining its role in IgG regulation and the rationale for FcRn blockade in these conditions. Enrolling clinical trials will be discussed to illustrate emerging therapeutic strategies. Developed and offered by MedForce and supported by Argenx. Not an official program of the ACR.
