Active as a clinician and a researcher, very keen on working with medical and other students.
-a member of Slovenian National Research Program in Systemic Autoimmune Diseases; performed a study on autoimmune response after influenza vaccination, the predictive value of antiphospholipid antibodies and also on the mechanisms of mechanisms of methotrexate action through AICAR in patients with rheumatoid arthritis or psoriatic arthritis;
- subinvestigator in clinical trials regarding RA and PsA; Investigator in a clinical study regarding Sjögren syndrome;
Current research activity: Sjögren syndrome, systemic sclerosis
