Allyn Bove is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Bove completed her DPT training at Columbia University and worked in orthopaedic private practice before completing her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh. She has experience in both clinical and health services research, with primary focus on advancing sociodemographic equity in outcomes and rehabilitation in osteoarthritis, total joint replacement, and low back pain, and secondary focus on cost-effectiveness of rehabilitation for musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Bove is currently supported by a K23 award from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
