Xingyi Liu is a Research Fellow in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics at Mayo Clinic. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His research focuses on developing and implementing advanced natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning methodologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), to automatically extract clinically significant information such as Mobility Functional Status and Joint Swelling from electronic health records (EHRs).
