Aaron Smith is a 2nd year rheumatology fellow at UNC Chapel Hill. He is interested in practicing general rheumatology. During residency, his research focused on the effects of ageism on the care of older adults. In fellowship his research has been around the care of non-inflammatory symptoms associated with rheumatic disease such as fatigue and brain fog. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, especially hiking, swimming, and reading.
