Kami Roake, PharmD is a clinical ambulatory care pharmacist at the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics in Salt Lake City. As a clinical pharmacist in a large academic medical center specializing in rheumatology and gastroenterology, she supports patients receiving immunosuppressive therapies through direct patient care, medication monitoring, and education. She is actively involved in multidisciplinary care teams to enhance medication safety and therapeutic outcomes.
She played a key role in the development and implementation of a pharmacist-led medication education program, which provides personalized counseling and education for patients starting or managing immunosuppressive medications. Her work focuses on empowering patients through education and supporting long-term disease management.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sport Science, and her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Utah. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at the VA Portland Health Care System.
