The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston
Houston, Texas, United States
I am a dedicated Clinical Research Scientist and Physician with a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and an MBBS (equivalent to MD in the U.S.), bringing a strong foundation in medicine, clinical practice, and biomedical research. With extensive experience across leading institutions including UTHealth Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center, I specialize in the design, coordination, and execution of clinical and translational research studies.
My expertise spans clinical research administration, study protocol development, participant recruitment and retention, data management, statistical analysis (SAS, SPSS, R, STATA), and regulatory compliance with IRB and FDA guidelines. Having worked as both a clinician and researcher, I bridge the gap between patient care and scientific discovery, ensuring research efforts translate into meaningful public health impact.
Attending the ACR conference will provide me with the opportunity to deepen my understanding of cutting-edge research, clinical practices, and emerging therapies in rheumatology. I am particularly interested in learning about advances in systemic sclerosis, autoimmune diseases, and their gastrointestinal manifestations, as these areas align closely with my current research focus.
I look forward to engaging with leading experts to gain insights into novel biomarkers, innovative trial designs, and translational research approaches that bridge basic science with patient care.
