I am a rheumatologist at Puerta de Hierro University Hospital in Madrid, where I lead the vasculitis and ultrasound-guided intervention clinics. I completed my medical degree at the Complutense University of Madrid, residency training in Rheumatology at Puerta de Hierro University Hospital, and a PhD at the University of Alcalá focused on prognostic markers of mortality and lymphoma in Sjögren’s disease. My main clinical and research interests include systemic autoimmune diseases, particularly Sjögren’s disease, vasculitis, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. I combine my clinical activity with teaching, serving as an honorary lecturer at Rey Juan Carlos University and Autonoma University of Madrid.
