I am a PGY-3 Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Western Michigan University School of Medicine. Originally from Pakistan, I earned my medical degree at Dow Medical College before moving to the United States for residency training. My clinical and research interests focus on rheumatology, and I am excited to be participating in this year’s rheumatology fellowship match. As Chief Resident, I have further developed my leadership and teaching skills while caring for patients across diverse settings. Outside of medicine, I enjoy cooking, hosting game nights, playing pickleball, and spending time with my toddler.
