Lauren Klingemann is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Christian University. Lauren aspires to pursue residency in Internal Medicine and has a deep fascination with the immune system. She is actively involved in the Auto-Immune Diseases Enhanced Medical Education Track at UNMC. Since 2020, she has contributed to research within the rheumatology department, where she is mentored by Dr. Geoffrey Thiele and Dr. Ted Mikuls. Lauren seeks to integrate her research experience into compassionate patient care as a future physician.
