I am a board-certified adult rheumatologist at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with rheumatologic diseases through both clinical care and scientific investigation. As a physician-scientist, my overarching goal is to identify treatment strategies that preserve physical function and enhance quality of life in individuals with rheumatic conditions. My research focuses on understanding the role of obesity and adipose tissue inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), with particular interest in how metabolic and inflammatory pathways intersect to influence disease progression and treatment response.
