I am a Research Neuroscientist specializing in the neuroanatomy of chronic pain. By leveraging human stem cell-derived sensory neurons and microphysiological systems, my work creates living models of human pain pathways to unravel the mechanisms underlying osteoarthritis pain, painful diabetic neuropathy, and neuropsychiatric disorders in lupus. I am dedicated to bridging the gap between animal models and human clinical trials to accelerate the discovery of novel analgesics
