I am a Research Associate at the Mayo Clinic with a focus in understanding the involvement of the intestinal microbiome in the development of GI disease and pathophysiology. I have a particular interest in understanding bacterial metabolism and how regional differences in the GI tract can drive a number of diseases including IBS and SSc. I have a specific focus on intestinal permeability and changes in GI function in these diseases.
